This is not to say we do not have 250+ scorers who totally crushed it!

Try a session then decide if the tutor is the right one for you. You may schedule as many first sessions as there are tutors available, and each session will still be free, so contact as many tutors as you like.

You tutor will utilize an online whiteboard to illustrate the concepts. One on one tutoring ensures that all your questions get answered and at the right pace.

Do i need a Tutor for usmle?

Is this a thing you have asked yourself? Presumably you have, since you are already on here. But do you really need a tutor? Well, this is not an easy question to answer, and there’s no one-answer-fit-all.

Here are some reasons you may consider getting a tutor:

  • Your scores have plateaued and no any amount of studying seems to break it. This is usually not due to a lack of knowledge, but could be related to how you approach certain questions instead. The USMLE exams are not entirely based on the fine art of “recall and regurgitate”, in fact, some of the harder questions can actually become really easy when you see them from a different perspective. Having a tutor will expose you to exam-tested test taking skills, and change the way you think about some of these questions.

  • You want a professional study partner. Someone who has done this before and will be interested in your preparation and fully dedicated and invested.

  • If some very specific topics give you a headache and seem a bit extra, targeting them with someone who has already passed may give you clarity.

  • If for any reason you feel burned out and would appreciate the dynamic interactive nature of live tutoring.

  • You want to be held accountable and stick to deadlines.

  • Maybe all you want is some coaching. You don’t want to go over study material, but instead want to learn how to better make use of your available resources.

  • If you are overwhelmed by the rapidly multiplying number of resources and want the advice of others who have already scored around your target.

You don’t even need to commit to a single tutor to get most of the things mentioned above. With our free first session policy, you can probably cover most of them absolutely for free. Give it a try now and get as many free sessions as there are tutors.
